Girls on the Run 5K – Register Now!

On Saturday, May 12, Girls on the Run of New Orleans will host its first-ever race open to public entries, the Girls on the Run 5K, at the New Orleans lakefront. The run, which will be produced by the New Orleans Track Club, begins at 8 a.m. at Shelter 1. Registration begins at 7 a.m.

Join 120 amazing young ladies as they run to the finish line!

*Online registration is now closed. Race Day Registration will begin starting at 7am.

The Basics

Girls on the Run® is a 501(c)3 positive youth development program for third through fifth grade girls which inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Lessons provide girls with the tools to make positive decisions and to avoid risky behaviors.
Run with Us! SoleMates

Joining SoleMates® is a great way for you to make a difference for our local girls. Athletes can participate in any event to support GOTR. Registration for SoleMates® is $15.00 in addition to any race registration fees, and participants agree to raise a minimum of $100.00.

SoleMates® runners are supported every step of the way with effortless online fundraising. With your support, the message of health and wellness that GOTR brings will continue to spread.
